Communication and Concerns

Communication

For general questions and inquiries the gym can be contacted the following ways:

  • Email: info@cheerprideallstars.com
  • Phone: 705-722-6435

Coaches:

To contact your coaches, please message your team coaches on BAND (use the chat feature and please include ALL team coaches as well as athlete & parent when under 18).

Do not contact your coaches over social media or their personal numbers with cheerleading concerns. We would like our staff to be able to keep a work/life balance. If you need to contact your coaches for a cheerleading matter, please use BAND and include all the team’s coaches in the chat.

Athletes should not contact coaches over social media/personal numbers unless in a group message setting with at least 1 other coach. Coaches will not contact athletes through social media/personal numbers.

Concerns/Complaints

Concerns/complaints MUST be emailed to JoAnn (info@cheerprideallstars.com). DO NOT message your coach with a concern or complaint.

Every concern or complaint will be reviewed by JoAnn and forwarded to the appropriate staff member to deal with the concern/complaint. This may take some time as we always fully look into the issues before acting on a resolution.

Please note; the ownership, management, directors & coaches will no longer be entertaining a conversation about “why” your athlete is in or not in a particular role or position in their routine. The coaches' decisions are final. There are over 200 years of combined experience within our staff and we believe we have built plenty of trust over the years.

At the end of the day cheerleading is a competitive sport, and in competitive sport the goal is to win when competing.  While winning is NOT the main focus, it still needs to be a goal, or something to strive for for the athletes & coaching staff.

Do not assume a coach's reasoning behind certain decisions. They ALWAYS have the athletes and teams best interest at the forefront of their mind

Coaches will always be happy to have a calm & collective conversation with you about your athlete and how they can improve, or what they need to work on in order to get them to the next level etc.  But please keep in mind if the conversation strays towards things like:

  • “Ya but this athlete is……”
  • “But she has those skills, why isn’t she……”
  • “I didn't want to say anything, but……”

The coach will end the conversation and ask you to please email to set up a meeting.  Do not approach the coaches angrily demanding answers.

Steps to take before placing/lodging a complaint with CPA

  • Athlete approaches coach first to ask questions
    • We are trying to teach athletes to speak for themselves and ask hard questions. This is never easy at any age, but athletes learning they can do this will help them as they mature through life
  • Wait 24 hours if you are upset about something, THEN send an email.
  • Email info@cheerprideallstars.com to explain the situation and one of two things will happen:
    • You will receive an email back giving you an explanation
    • You will receive an email back to set up a meeting with the appropriate people
  • After any meeting has been completed, we consider the issue resolved
