Athlete/Family Removal from CPA
CheerPride All-Stars is a private business and as such has the right to refuse service if a customer's behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or violates our policies.
We will be implementing a “Strike Policy” for both parents & athletes. Strikes will be handed out based on a number of factors (but not limited to them). All athletes/families will have 3 strikes before disciplinary measures are handed out.
Parent/Family Strikes: Examples can include, but are not limited to the following:
- Explicitly demeaning the coaches online or in person
- Missing two consecutive monthly payments without communication about your payment
- Spreading negativity among CPA families in the lobby
- Poor sportsmanship within the CPA walls or at a competition
- Some minor things may lead to a verbal warning stating that the next time it occurs will lead to a strike on file for the person(s).
- Leaving garbage in the lobby
- NOT including all coaches on Band messages
- Contacting your coach instead of emailing info@cheerprideallstars.com
Athlete Strikes: Can include, but are not limited to the following:
- Explicitly demeaning their coaches/teammates online or in person
- An unexcused practice ABOVE the allowable number outlined in the Attendance Policy
- Poor sportsmanship within the CPA walls or at a competition
- Some minor things may lead to a verbal warning stating that the next time it occurs will lead to a strike on file for the person(s)
- Negatively talking to/about a teammate
- Continual unexcused lateness
- Leaving garbage in gym/lobby
Immediate Dismissal: There may be extreme situations that will result in an immediate dismissal. This would include actions such as:
- Acting on or threatening physical harm to a staff member or customer
- Verbal abuse towards a staff member or customer
