Athlete/Family Removal from CPA

CheerPride All-Stars is a private business and as such has the right to refuse service if a customer's behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or violates our policies.

We will be implementing a “Strike Policy” for both parents & athletes. Strikes will be handed out based on a number of factors (but not limited to them). All athletes/families will have 3 strikes before disciplinary measures are handed out.

Parent/Family Strikes: Examples can include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Explicitly demeaning the coaches online or in person
  • Missing two consecutive monthly payments without communication about your payment
  • Spreading negativity among CPA families in the lobby
  • Poor sportsmanship within the CPA walls or at a competition
  • Some minor things may lead to a verbal warning stating that the next time it occurs will lead to a strike on file for the person(s).
    • Leaving garbage in the lobby
    • NOT including all coaches on Band messages
    • Contacting your coach instead of emailing info@cheerprideallstars.com

Athlete Strikes: Can include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Explicitly demeaning their coaches/teammates online or in person
  • An unexcused practice ABOVE the allowable number outlined in the Attendance Policy
  • Poor sportsmanship within the CPA walls or at a competition
  • Some minor things may lead to a verbal warning stating that the next time it occurs will lead to a strike on file for the person(s)
    • Negatively talking to/about a teammate
    • Continual unexcused lateness
    • Leaving garbage in gym/lobby

Immediate Dismissal: There may be extreme situations that will result in an immediate dismissal. This would include actions such as:

  • Acting on or threatening physical harm to a staff member or customer
  • Verbal abuse towards a staff member or customer
